Health Centre is owned by the North Yorkshire and York PCT. The Health
Centre was opened more than 40 years ago and has gone through various
changes since opening. As well as the general practice the health centre
also has a large community team working from the health centre this includes
the district nursing service, health visiting service, school health service,
midwives and counselling services.
The Health Centre is also used by various community and hospital services which enables patients to be seen locally rather than them travelling to the local hospitals.
The aim of the practice is to provide a helpful and friendly service while continuing to improve the quality and range of healthcare services that we offer to our patients through the Practice.
